Opportunity to give testimony on how we spend ESSER funds, which are provided to State educational agencies and school districts to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus. Registration required through FCPS.

Topic: This meeting is only testimony on how we spend ESSER funds, which are provided to State educational agencies and school districts to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the Nation's students.
Registration to speak: There is NOT a limit on the number of speakers at the 5 p.m. hour, but the topic is limited to only ESSER funds. You do not need to register to attend, just to speak. Keep alert for masking requirements. They may NOT be the same as those for students in schools.
Registration opens on February 10 and continues until Monday or Tuesday February 21 or 22

There may be some additional spots for qualified speakers in person at this meeting who have not previously signed up (not at most meetings though). See the clerk on the left side of the room before the meeting.
Speakers must be: 1) residents of Fairfax County or City; 2) current employees of FCPS; 3) current students in FCPS; 4) parents/guardians of current students in FCPS; or 5) business partners of FCPS (contractors and such).
Speaking spots may NOT be transferred to other people for any reason.
Time to speak: Speakers usually have two minutes. The mic is cut automatically after two minutes, for everyone.
